Welcome to Renergy Technologies (Pty) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Technologies (Pty) Ltd. At Rentech we offer products and services for renewable energy systems, with solar photovoltaic systems our speciality. Our main clients are in the telecommunications industry, but we are also distributors of energy efficient devices for domestic use including energy efficient lighting and refrigeration, and solar water pumping. We pride ourselves in keeping abreast of technological developments in the world of photovoltaics, and we bring in high end new products continually and make them available to the local market.

While our core strength is wholesale supply of products, we also offer a service in which we integrate complete systems with correctly matched components which include batteries (open vented, semi-sealed, sealed AGM and gelled), solar modules (mono and multi-crystalline and thin film amorphous silicon), balance of system components such as charge controllers (regulators), accessories (combiner boxes, power cabinets etc), mounting structures (pole, ground, raised ground and cantilever), inverters, 12V energy saving lamps, LED lights, battery chargers, interconnection cables and fasteners.

An exciting new development is that we have entered into the Solar Water Heating market with a range of products, including both traditional flat plate collector systems and the highly efficient evacuated (vacuum) tube collector systems.

Rentech has direct access to the technical services and products manufactured and supplied by companies within the Powertech Group such as Willard Batteries and Battery Technologies (Pty) Ltd. Rentech has a number of key strategic technology partners worldwide with corporations such as United Solar Ovonic LLC (Uni-Solar), Phocos, OutBack Power Systems, Morningstar Corporation, SMA Technologie AG, HBL Power Systems Ltd and TH Solar.
